1 practical facts are not published in any of these documents. Wherever they would appear, the page says so instead of guessing.
How the site uses them
Every date and figure lives in one data file, with the document it came from. Pages do not type a number: they quote the file, so two pages cannot disagree, and a change in the tariff changes every page at once.
Where two official documents disagree, both are quoted. The free-entry age is the current example: the tariff says children under 10, the ticket shop says under 11.
Where the Basilica’s documents are silent, we turn to reliable published sources — the Venetian press, the civic museums, scholarly texts — and name them on the page. What visitors report on travel forums and in reviews appears only when many say the same thing, and always as what visitors report, never as a rule. When nothing reliable answers a question, the page says so. Who is behind the site, and how it is paid for, is on about this guide.
